Heritage Trail Press is a publisher of U.S. historical material and we are located in Portland, OR. Our initial efforts was the publication of Oregon material, however, we have recently added Utah newspapers to our database. Our goal is to make available to the researcher material that is otherwise not available on the Internet.

    Oregon publications to date include historic newspapers and newspaper indexes, city directories, Catholic Church Records, BLM donation land claim and land survey maps and indexes to them, Metsker Atlases and indexes, the Oregon death index and cemetery survey. The Oregon cemetery survey index links to the USGenweb tombstone transcription project.

    The index to the Catholic Church records link to an actual image of the records as they appear in the parish sacramental record books. The Oregon newspapers are also displayed as an actual image of the original paper.

    These projects are in various stages of completion and we will add updates weekly to the databases.
